The grounding braids (or taps) may be made up of one or more lengths of flattened tubular braids, the ends of which are fitted with subsequently pressed and drilled tinned copper tubes or cable lugs.

They can be manufactured in both red or tinned copper, with the required dimensions and finished with a copper ring or terminal.

Its flexibility depends on the diameter of the individual strands, which range from 0.05mm to 0.20mm, as well as the cross section and construction of the criss-cross.
